The Redskin Peach Tree (Prunus persica "Redskin") is very vigorous and fast-growing frost-hardy and drought resistant variety. A hybrid of Red Haven and Elberta, With showy, pink flowers in the spring and bearing a large crop midseason (Late June - Late August, of firm yellow fleshed fruit and has deep red skin with excellent sweet flavor, add to a salad for a refreshing kick! An early bearer, typically within the first three years.
Uses: Perfect for eating fresh, storing or canning. Self fertile, however, planting more than one pollinator will increase production.
Plant in full sun for maximum fruit production, in well draining loamy soils.
